24 Hour Offsite Monitoring Control Room
Our control center provides real-time monitoring of our security officers complete with the provision of an audit trail for our clients via the Guard monitoring system. Communication between our clients, management, Security Officers, and Tactical Response team is of utmost importance, not only in case of emergency but at all times, to ensure good service delivery, quick and effective response in case of an emergency.
The backbone of Trio Risk Management’s operational success is its Command and Control Center. This hub acts as the “nervous system” for all security activities, ensuring that technology, field personnel, and clients are perfectly synchronized.
By utilizing a sophisticated Guard Monitoring System, Trio transforms traditional security into a transparent, data-driven service.
1. Real-Time Oversight & Transparency
The “human factor” is managed through rigorous digital tracking. Clients no longer have to wonder if a guard is at their post; the data provides the proof.
- Live Geofencing: Every security officer is tracked via GPS. If an officer leaves their designated zone or misses a patrol waypoint, the Control Center receives an instant “exception alert.”
- Digital Point Logging: Guards use handheld devices to scan NFC tags or QR codes at specific locations. This creates a timestamped Audit Trail that is sent to the client daily or weekly.
- Panic & Man-Down Alerts: If an officer is incapacitated or under threat, their device automatically triggers a priority alarm in the Control Center, pinpointing their exact location for the Tactical Response team.
2. The Communication Loop
Trio prioritizes a “multi-layered” communication strategy. In the high-risk South African environment, a 10-second delay in communication can be the difference between a successful recovery and a total loss.
Communication Channels:
- Push-to-Talk (PTT) over Cellular: Instant, encrypted voice communication between Officers, Management, and Tactical units.
- Encrypted Messaging Groups: For non-emergency updates, site reports, and shift handovers, ensuring a written record exists for all operational decisions.
- Client Portal: A direct line for clients to view live status updates, incident reports, and patrol logs in real-time.
3. Incident Management & Tactical Escalation
The Control Center doesn’t just watch; it coordinates. When an emergency is detected (via CCTV, Drone, or Guard), the center follows a strict escalation protocol:
| Step | Action | Responsibility |
| 1. Verification | Immediate visual check via CCTV or Drone feed. | Control Room Operator |
| 2. Deployment | Dispatching the nearest Tactical Response Team. | Dispatcher |
| 3. Coordination | Real-time “eyes-on” guidance provided to ground units. | Tactical Lead |
| 4. Client Update | Continuous status reports provided to the business owner. | Management |
| 5. Post-Incident | Full forensic audit and incident report generated. | Intelligence Unit |
